Wow, ...what to say?, ...that's "The Bass"! :)

Perfect color combo, perfect neck, beautiful wood grain...congrats my friend! ;)

Čestitam prijatelju, to je bas za sva vremena, ...sve što jedan basista treba!

P.S. ...now You don't need to worry about cleaning maple neck and fret board! :p

Thanks folks, now it's time to take care of my wife instead of cleaning dirty fingerboard :)

Yeah :D ...You better do that dude!

P.S. ...nemoj skidat' mute padove, radije malo "skini" skalpelom tu gumi-pjenu, nikad ne znaš možda ti zatreba! ;)

When You finish setup, please post short review about the sound and versatility! :)

After 5 days of playing both basses, I've done with comparising of two SR's...SR5 Classic and regular SR5...and I could say this:

Look and finish: Classic is just perfect, every little detail is just perfect...Congrats guys from EB :) SR5 regular is nice but, unfinished neck is not what I like

Playability: SR5 regular is much better in this segment, very low action, speed neck..it is the best bass for fast and easy playing I ever had in my 18 years playing career.SR Classic is significantly harder to play instead of very good setup I'v done.

Sound: Both basses sound very very similar,I thing the difference is only in midds which is more natural with SR Classic

Testing through Markbass LMII + Eden Nemesis 115

and just one thing more...SR5 Classic is heavyweight bass unlike SR5 which is very lightweight bass.

Here is some sound samples...EQ flat, directly into my notebook integrated sound card, thats why it sounds very poor, but I dont have equipment for a better recording :) sorry for my bad english :)

So sweet , I want a seafoam green or shell pink classic badly.

I haven't seen the shell pink, but there is a beautiful coral SR4 Classic sitting in the GC store here in Rochester. It has been hanging on the rack for ever. It is really different! You might want to look into that. I can snap a quick phone pick if you want to see it. Let me know.

Wow, groove ...that was amazing! :)

You're excellent player, ..very nice tone both of Your Ray's, ...maybe, just maybe I like better this new Classic tone!
I don't know why, it seems to me that You've been better concentrated when playing with old SR5, sounds like You two are burned in already, but this Classic got "something" I don't know, ....maybe fresh factory strings, or gloss finish affect to the sound...

Great work, congrats!

Odličan review prijatelju, samo tako, jako dobar feeling imaš za groove, zato si valjda i uzeo taj nick name! :)

Funky rules! ;)

Thanks Keko, strings are EB regular slinky 45-130, 4 months old, i switched them from old SR because that strings sound better then "new" factory strings on Classic....snimao sam napamet jer nemam nikakav monitoring kad se ukljucim u laptop, a i tempo sam morao da zapamtim pa sam ga kasnije uklapao u kompu tako da se po malo cuje kako ispadam iz tempa :)
