I've been meaning to sell this bass for a long time, for a variety of reasons, but never did. Well now I'm deciding it's really gotta go. I'm really a terrible bass player, and there's a sweet lil' camera callin' my name...

She's in pretty good condition. A few bumps and bruises and scratches, but nothing you could see from more than a foot or so away, and nothing that you wouldn't've done yourself anyway. The tuners are sorta dull, but absolutely solid as anything I've ever seen, and the pickup poles have some blackening around the edges. I believe it was made in 2000. The serial is E12284.

Honeyburst body, flame maple neck (is that rare?), 3-band EQ.

$840 shipped sound fair?
I'd rather not put 'er on eBay.

Oh, hey! I remember from a while ago you were thinking about selling it to fund an upright bass. I guess that never took off, eh? Sad to hear you're letting go of this beaut. :(

At the moment, MMs seem to be going for around 750-1000 on the 'Bay. It seems a bit lower than before and some speculate it's because of EBMM's new dual-pickup models. I'm not in the market for an SR at the moment (though the GAS has been terrible), but 840 shipped does sound fair.

By the way... any relation to phatduck? :p

Yes indeed, I was gonna sell it to get the upright, but I got the upright anyway. If anybody's considering getting an upright, just don't do it. Come take mine. I had no idea what I was getting into. It was like a house. Way bigger than me, at least. Scary. :D
