Here's a quick clip and pictures before I write up some more for you guys about this one. Shout out to the Guitar Center in Hallandale for having a proper setup on their JP's down there, this is the best 7 String I've played so far, only comparable to the J-Custom I played and the Cherry Burst BFR at GC Hallandale. :D

Thanks so much guys! Playing her is extremely nice. I'm almost considering maybe just trading my 6 string JP12 for a 7 String version of it. The necks on these are so comfortable they almost feel like slightly larger 6's due to the narrow string spacing. Absolutely love it!

Thanks so much man! :) Much appreciated, I've always wanted to cover some ATG but most 7's I've received have been in Ab or Drop A. That and having trems just made me lazy haha.

And that was definitely surprising, the difference from this to the JP12 is massive. The response is completely different and the tone is very different! And to my surprise I'm having the time of my life in B Standard, I'm considering just keeping it there until I install a Tremolno or block the trem completely! I'm glad I went with this combo, they're both excellent for leads but the JP12's warmth just gives itself to lead playing. I can feel me using this XI on the rhythmic end of my songs for the recording process.

Awesome man, would you say the narrow string spacing makes fast licks easier? Im curious how it affects doing big bends/vibratos too. Anyway, you have a nice selection of tonal variety with those two alone. I can see how that 7 has a "tighter" crunch to it, if that makes any sense lol.

I don't notice a different in bends and vibrato besides maybe having to clean up my muting technique slightly so that I don't make the other strings sound out.

It does help in string skipping and faster licks spanning most of the strings, less space for the hand to move around to reach the strings!

And yes! Tonally I'm in love with the XI for a more compressed metal tone, the 12 is my main E Standard lead/solo instrument at the moment and it just sounds lovely. I enjoy mixing the piezo with the electric sound and rolling off most of the tone knob, almost gives it a Jazzbox tone through my buddy's Twin Reverb.

Can't wait to start recording next month with these two! :)
