Well the day is finally here that I can finally open the box to this guitar. All I have to say so far is WOW . This thing not only looks killer but plays amazing . It plays better than any strat I’ve ever had and certainly better than my custom shop. This thing is so comfortable and the neck is so different than any other guitar I own. Stays in tune great and the workmanship is spot on. So here it is boys. 8A987D80-FEC7-4A7E-B905-61B11E73E69D.jpeg EBD06923-1107-4D0D-B044-815377FF6F07.jpeg 9CFEE2B8-5D72-4FDE-9605-723ED038762E.jpeg

Suh-weet! I'm a little biased but that one is a stunner.

I really fought the Cutlass thing. I didn't want to like it. But it's sounds and plays so well, and the feature set is amazing.
I fought the cutlass thing too but I’ve always liked Strats. I just dont like where the volume knob is on them. I end up hitting it. The cutlass is in the perfect spot. Ebmm did a great job of building a single coil guitar that’s familiar but different.

My first EBMM was a Cutlass RS in firemist silver just like that. The most comfortable and effortless guitar I've played in my entire life. Until it was co-opted by my daughter, that is.

I have another one now in charging green that's still top notch but it's just slightly different enough that it's not quite at the same level. At least I'll still get to play it when I see her.

Congrats! I love that finish on that model. Last year when I was saving up for my first Valentine, I saw this exact same Cutlass (except it was HSS) in the shop where I got my buttermilk Valentine last week. It was used but really nice shape and had just come in-- and was a good price. It was the first EBMM guitar I played in person-- and it was a phenomenal player. I almost pulled the trigger on it but decided to wait for my first Valentine. But there was always a part of me that wishes I could have nabbed the Firemist Silver Cutlass.

Yours has some really nice flame on the headstock and fretboard. Enjoy!
