I didn't take it that way. I have a few challenges, though. I deliberately don't have internet other than my iPhone at home. Also, I have been working on several songs and on one or two just can't quite get the parts right, or in a couple of cases, wasn't playing the notes on the right strings.

I am trying to clean up my execution. I have been working on these:

Sure Know Something, KISS
Rapture, Blondie
Black is Black, Los Bravos
and a few others.

Sometime I need a little help getting it right. I'll get more keen on things on my own as I go.

Sometimes internet makes things easier. You can still go to the internet cafe, download the partiture or tabs and print it for your purpose. Or just work with some tab editors offline like GTP or whatever

I have been printing what I need from the office. I was wanting to see which source for tabs was the best. I have found some junk and want to avoid it.

911tabs is pretty good. It is possible to find some good tabs there.

I find that most TABs are riddled with errors, so I tend to stay clear of them all together. Plus, usually one crappy TAB is usually just copied all over the place. If I can't figure something out, I take a break and come back later with fresh ears.

I often check out MusicNotes.com which will give you a sample first page. I transcribe in standard music notation.

Tabs are not such a great thing overall but sometimes it helps when you're figuring something out by your ears (while it is not perfect xD)
