Right on, it sounds cool, I think someone here can help you with mic placement and perhaps which type of mic to use. I think once you get that straightened out, we'll get to hear the real Jeckyll and Hyde of that modded Pet!

thanks man...just an sm57..which I've gotten good results with before...someone showed me a pic of where they put theirs on their splawn cab..so I'm gonna try that..this was micing the other speaker in the cab as well..the other clips I've done are all the man o war...this was the governor (I think..can't remember which is where...lol)..

anywho, it's not the 'best' representation of the amp..it's a little fizzy..i think where the mic is has alot to do with that..but it shows that the BBQ bucker definetly ain't just for blues..lol

AH FIZZY! DON'T SAY FIZZY! I just went through a fizz nightmare with two Carvin V3s. Needless to say, they're heading back to their maker. I'm thinking about trying a Carvin Legacy or Engl Screamer/Fireball.

beleive me, the amp is NOT fizzy...it rips and roars, but my recording ineptitude makes my clips sound a little far away, fizzy and lifeless....and I can't, in good conscience, post anything less than a true representation of the amp..

yes, I'm obssessed I suppose..lol
