Right the hell on! I can't wait to see the pics on that sucker. As a fellow wait'er I understand the whole sitting on the edge of your seat awaiting news. :D

What is custom about it? I was under the impression that EBMM didn't do custom guitars. If they did, that would be great! I would love an axis made from alder instead of basswood.

Right On!! That's what I meant by "Custom" ! I paid $500 bucks for the premium quilt top over the standard quilt top!

I also had them match the headstock as well and had it finished in Tobacco Burst.

I think I'll call just to see exactly how far along it is! Two weeks ago it was in finishing, last week it was in setup.

What's next??? :D

Sounds like it's in the step right before they let the gorillas have a go at it. :D

(anyone else old enough to remember those luggage commercials?)

Ah How I miss my old Tabacci(pics)

My 1st Axis was a Gold Top which I sold to order this one Custom Top Baco w/ matching headstock, ordered right when the option was announced waited 1 1/2 months. Then like a dummy sold it for a ESP(it was a phase) now after some Custon Shop Wolfgangs decided to get my Axis/EVH fix again. The problem is now I'm being told 4+ months wait. How I could punch myself in my face. But I did just score a EVH Sunburst to quench my thirst.
