Arrived on tuesday.. Man, what a damn great guitar..i own several Charvels, ESP´s, Jacksons, B.C.Rich´s, but this is by far my absloute favorite one...looks awesome, sounds so damn good, plays and feels like a dream.. the ultimate Rock Guitar, that´s it..oh, and i havent heard such a sweet neck pu sound in years and the bridge, well, you can clearly tell who designed it..i dunno why but with this one all the usual VH tricks are so much easier...i love it!!!

Aren't they the best pickups! I had to buy a pair from a fellow forumite and put them in my gold ax40, they are so good, you should refinish the neck with the oil and wax, and get a chrome toggle switch, the neck is easy, just 600 grit and oil then wax, i did a thread on it last year, you can look it up. You will love it!

Hi Eric, YES, they are...i used to be a Seymour Duncan Man til i heard that baby screaming for the first time..no turning back, lol...what Di Marzios are they exactly? Can they be bought seperately also? And thank you, i really think about the neck refinishing...man, since she arrived i didn´t even LOOK anymore at all my other axes, lol..just like back then when i had 3 MM VH´s, only guitars i used for years..sold them cause Mr. Fabolous thought it might be a nice idea and a good refill for his wallet to convince the whole world that his Peavey Wolfgangs are sooo much better now..not in a tri-zillion years... :)

Just imagine if you bought a REAL EBMM Axis. You would have to change your shorts after you strum your first Em power chord. Thats what I had to do (figuratively speaking) when I got my Luke III.

I just got a new old stock peavey wolfgang and i must say.. Its awesome, but different, the neck is fatter and the frets are much bigger, i think the axis neck is much faster though with the smaller frets, but the wolfgang sounds incredible!
