After many, many years of hoping, wishing, envy, disappointment, depression, and complete loss of hope, I got it!

I am the proud owner of an original EBMM/EVH in Cherry-Burst.

It's not in mint condition. A couple dings, and the back has some buckle rash, but overall it's in great shape.

Pictures are forthcoming.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Okay guys, as promised:

So, originally I said Cherry-Burst, but it looks more like a honey-burst or something. Can anyone tell me what the actual color was called, as I can't remember.

Also, can someone tell me the year of production. SN is 83361. Thanks.

The ones that are slightly worn are the best because you can just play them and not (really) worry too much. (If you bought it to play, that is!)

Hawt neck figuring. Congrats!

Thanks guys.

The top is interesting. It has what I will call a subdued quilt. What I mean is that, when you look at the guitar straight on, you hardly notice any figuring at all. If you change the angle you look at the guitar 10 to 15 degrees the figuring jumps right out at you. The quilt pattern looks completely different, depending on the angle you look at it. It is really cool.

I can't make myself put this guitar down. It's just so easy to play.

I agree that the guitar doesn't need to be in cosmetically perfect condition to enjoy it. I rather like the fact that it is a players guitar.
