Help! Finish-Problem under Pickguard

So I have a nice white Ray and want to play it without the PG.
But as I took it off, the Finish was yellow
I don´t think its a factory failure, the age and time took its tribute ^^
I tried to polish it with D. 65, soap, spit p) but nothing worked.

Does anyone know how to get it white?

Hmmmm...I'm no expert, but I'm afraid it IS what it IS. That's what the white guitar finishes do. Anyone else?

yep, white paint ages yellow, and there is little you can do about it (other than love it, some people love that vintage white color and will pay extra for it!) other than a refinish, which takes the fun out of it.
