That's awesome man! Nothing is more fun than teaching someone.....too bad I can't. I am the student......as I shall forever be........I need the lessons.....To help start someone out so young is great.....hope he becomes the next rock guitar god!

Tim, that's great! I had my first student in about 8-9 months last night. He's 11 and has had a guitar for the past 4-5 months. We had a quick meeting last week, where I gave him some chords to try out before his first lesson, and he had them all memorized! He was catching right on with new scales I showed him last night, too.

If you can easily convey your knowledge to a child, it says a lot about both the student and the teacher!

You should post some soundclips of the little shredmonster sometime ;)
