All I can say is, WOW. Al really plays well in the mix, and having the passive/active option is perfect for the music we play. I got nothing but compliments on the tone, and the gorgeous roasted neck drew a couple of looks as well. One guy, I'm guessing a fellow bassist, kept ogling it like it was a a piece of meat. :)

I swapped over to the Stingray 5hh for a couple songs just to keep her from getting too jealous, but Al was back on after that for the rest of the show. Couple of pre-show pics attached (we played during the day and the actual gig pics didn't come out very well, too much bright light).

It was too bright, not dark. The stage is in front of the front windows to the bar, and the sun was shining through, so it made it hard to get pictures of us playing. We'll have some good ones this weekend, though. :)

Oh, I see, ...never mind, this sparkle black and ebony matches perfect anyway! Don't need to mention roasted maple!
