first gig with trace 715x

I got to use my Trace on a gig last week. I used my '77 Stingray (as usual). The bass/amp combo worked well. I did get a more acceptable sound with the EQ as opposed to the pre-shape, but a few more gigs will help me fine tune the sound. This week should be interesting. I'll be using the same setup at a gig at The Saint in Asbury Park. Is anybody else using a Stingray through this Trace amp?

I play a Sterling thru Trace heads and Eden cabs (or Trace cabs). I use the pre-shape 95% of the time. I haven't heard the new Trace stuff yet. The Sterling has sounded great thru everything.

 

[Sonnyonbass]

I still use an old Trace amp (AH350X) and trace 1x15 and 410 (1048) cabs for rehearsals. Played them A LOT live though with a Sterling. Sounded awesome.
Just dipped the mids a tiny bit on the graphic EQ. That's it.
