This is my first post. My name is Fernando and i live in Argentina, altough some of my family lives in Kansas, USA.
I am a lefty and have been playing guitar for 20 years now, and had them all.
Name it and i had it, searching for THAT one.
When you are lefty your chances of finding and decent guitar are rare. I felt very frustrated trough all these years of not finding a brand that could care about leftys.
A very close friend of mine, that lives in Miami, came here for a vacation (he is a lefty too) with a EBMM Axis super sport, two humbuckers, honey burst, maple board, tremolo, etc.
He left the guitar here for a week. What can i say that all you guys here dont know?
The feel, the smoothnes, the action, the tone, the size of it, the beauty of it, its unique voice, the neck, for christ sake, the neck!
When i told him about what i felt with the guitar he said:
Yeah, they are the best guitars on the planet, but i wont sell it, sorry. And he also said; Buy one, they are all that good.
Since 4 days ago that my friend went back to Miami (with her...), i have been desperately searching for a Lefty EBMM Axis super sport without any luck.
My parents will come here in 2 months, so i dont have time to order one from the factory. All the dealers i called dont have a lefty with humbuckers and maple board, and also no luck at ebay.
If any of you guys here, and i know there are plenty of leftys, are selling one please let me know, i am ready to make a very decent offer.
Sorry if my story was too long, but i never felt something like this in 20 years of playing guitar (10 of them making a living out of it). And also sorry for my english, i am still improving.
It is a pleasure to be here, to read and learn. I hope to be in the family soon!
