I haven't owned tons of basses - started with a Washburn from the 80's, then an L2000, a Yamaha RBX, a Fender American Precision, and a couple of Gibson Rippers.
But this Stingray is, imo, the finest bass I've ever owned. I've found several tones that are really useful. The construction, finish, everything are amazing.
My amp setup is a Mesa BB750 run into one or two Aggie GS212's.
Combined with the Stingray, it is just brutal. Vibrations were radiating from the floor up into my bones.
