Question Flamed or Quilted Top from Musician's Friend?

what do you get from musician's friend when you buy an Axis or a Steve Morse Guitar? all the pictures they show are Quilted Tops, but i read in another thread that all you get from them are Flamed Tops?? is it always like that? or is it just down to luck??

Pretty much dead on true.

If you order of the website then it is a roll of the dice, if the guitar you are looking at is part of the Private Reserve section you can call them and they will tell you flame or quilt and send a picture. Musicians Freind has very good customer service.

In GC Platinum you can see actual pics of the guitar you´d purchase...in MF you just have luck to get whatever flavor you preffer...

well i guess i will give them a call, because a standard Axis it's not part of their private reserve stock. so i guess it will be a roll of the dice if i buy it directly from their website
