Flatwounds for SR5?

I'm thinking of biting the bullet and trying a set of flatwounds on my SR5. Do "they" even make flatwounds for 5-strings? If so, does anyone have suggestions on which set to try? (I'm playing rock, if that makes a difference). Thanks!

I've never tried them, but many people seem to like the TI Jazz Flats:

Why would you want flats for rock? I like the edge roundwounds give the Stingray....if you want smoother tone go for nickels strings. Personally, I tried the TI Jazz flats on my Fender and hated them.....weird feeling string, kinda sloppy...low tension or something.....

I love the flats I have on my acoustic fretless, so I just tried a set on my SR5, and I didn't like them. The bass didn't cut the same way. I like a bassy sound, but I just lost too much definition. I was hoping to like them, but oh well!

You should probably just try a set and see what you think. The ones I use are D'Addario Chromes, which do come in a 5 set that fits an SR5 fine.

I love my TI flats on my SR5. I am not good at describing the subtle sound differences, but I can tell you anyone I let try my SR5 has a real hard time putting it down.
I got the after Mr. Bovine recomended them. ;) :)
