#3, So Flea isnt my favorite, and is sometimes a bit over the top for my tastes. BUT, it cant be said that his influence isnt huge. He turned many folks on to the bass, and even more specifically the StingRay (I know he plays another bass now). Hey, at least he plays GK. So take this for what its worth. Just an interesting video of Flea and his StingRay.

River Phoenix hosts it with Flea, and it's all a bit shambolic. But the playing - you can't deny the bloke's got talent.

Video boxed somewhere due to house move, BUT as I recall I think it was Boogie gear....

The set of the video was apparantly Flea's own garage where the Peppers used to do a lot of their writing.

Flea is playing a GK 800RB through a Mesa 2x15 cab in the video.I've had this video since 1993 and I still break it out every once in a while.Not really an "instrucional" video but some great bass playing though............

Yep Randracula is right... He uses GK amps and MB cabs.. He's the reason why I picked up bass the first time, changed philosophy of life and music, and possibly get a stingray
