I tried these things in the past with my Floyd Rose guitars, last one an Ibanez with the Lo Pro edge Trem. it didn't work.

When you detune one string whether it's the tunning machine or the fine tuner, the other strings will counteract to compensate the pressure, one way to achieve this is to use the D tuna Saddle.

This D tuna thing on the EVH guitar for example was basically meant to be used on its Floyd as it only goes down, not upwards, even though you could set it up to go up as well...

I'm not sure if you can install the D tuna, I believe that on most lo profile Floyds it won't fit in.
