I've had my Axis for a month now and it's perfect. I can't stop playing it. My Les Paul actually sounds and feels too chunky now.
But i have one problem. The housing for the Floyd Rose (where the arm meets the baseplate) is loose. It's a used guitar so I don't know what happened to it but I can't seem to tighten the bolt underneath, even after removing the Floyd Rose from the body. Looks like the washer is bent. The tremolo moves smoothly but has a metallic buzz on a few notes.
Any ideas for fixing this? I also wonder in the event that I can't fix it, can i replace the trem with another Floyd Rose? I wouldn't mind being able to remove the arm when I need to slip it in a gig bag and hop on the subway.
