I have been lucky enough to land a couple engagements for some sound & lighting consultancy work in California this year - and even more fortunate to have made some really great friends on that side of the Atlantic on my trips too.
During my last visit in August, a run up the coast resulted in us dropping past the MM factory in San Luis Obispo later in the day. Naturally, I had to call in just to see the place were my beloved Mystic JP6 was born
Of course, Music Man would rather focus their energies on making guitars than faffing about with public tours and all that jazz, so I didn't actually get to see a whole lot in truth, but did at least get to chat with Matt (I think!) for a short while and catch a glimpse through the factory doors - it was very cool for me given that I'm normally several thousand miles away and never actually been Stateside until earlier this year!
