Since BP has to remind people not to clutter up the for sale thread, I thought I'd start this to use for any kind of comments you might have about the guitars posted for sale. We've been doing this on another forum I'm on for threads we want to keep clean and it works there, so I thought it might be worth a try. Hope it's OK with the mods :)

Yes it is 1 of 5 and I was and am amazed nobody jumped on it especially since I was giving a DD discount to keep it in the forum factory, but it is now on EBay.

Man, if it was a DD Axis, I would have bought it...I just don't know about this "Luke" fellow....wasn't he married to Laura on General Hospital back in the 80's????

(yes, i know there is no DD axis, and yes, I'm joking about Luke and Laura)

Would it be possible to have a trading forum so each sale can have its own thread? That way any extra discussion regarding a sale can be in the relevant thread without disrupting anyone else's for sale posts.

1 of 5. Yes, I got the ebay email notice and looked it up and to was surprised that it lasted a day. So I am the culprit that bought her. I have a non-piezo Luke that he signed for me a few months ago and always wanted to get that piezo version. I have a DD JP6 in both piezo and non piezo as well. I play the JP6 non at home since its a great sounding axe but the other ones will see more inside the case time. BUT they all come out from time to time, because I kinda feel that guitars were meant to be played. But I am super-careful when I do. Like I'm in one of those clean room suits that computer guys wear. I love these guitars and have added them to my collection of guitars that not only are great looking, great sounding, but also will be collectible in the future.

I also thought that it was a fair price even though I wish that maybe I'd get on the forum more often to see if maybe it would have been available for a little less scratch. I bought my non-piezo Luke new from a dealer for a bunch less. But the scarcity is what makes that value go up. So all in all I'm glad that it was a forum member that owned her and took advantage of the first appreciation.

I will put some photos together of all the DD's in one place. I have been shooting shots of some Custom Strats that I have been selling lately but haven't had time to get to the ones that I am keeping. I have also recently purchase an AL and JP6 piezo in Blue Dawn. I love my EBMM guitars it seems that I am getting more and more. But you gearheads already know what I mean. I also have a JP6 in Mystic and a Black Sparkle Luke. Thanks for the interest.

cars glad you got it and now I feel comfortable that it is going to a good home, it is packed and ready to ship, it was really hard to part with and I may regret it but life goes on, and on a bright note, I can now save up for a Luke BFR someday.:)

Thanks and its good to know that a forum member was the one selling. Everything has been smooth as silk so far. I know how you feel about letting some of the good ones go. Mine have been more compromises with the boss about letting some go to get something else in. As time goes by though it seems that I get a little more particular about what I want and am willing to let some of the others go when left to make a choice. Is there really a point where you have to say enough is enough? ....... Nah, I didn't think so.

Famous last words. "But honey, it doesn't look like there are over 70 guitars in there !"

I'll be looking forward to seeing her soon and will be sure to email you when it gets here. Thanks again.

Yeah, pics would be nice. Are you the one that bought my JP6 Dargie w/piezo off of the bay? When I shoot my "for sale" pics, I always shoot a few extra pics of the keeper guitars too.

Hi. I had to go back and take a look at who I bought the JP6 from and yes it does appear that I did buy yours. I wasn't on line for that one either and then I didn't reply after buying it because I guess I singlehandedly increased the used market for DD JP6's. But I had to have it. I'm glad I got it when I did because the guitar was pristine and you really don't see many if any at all come back up for sale.

I do have some additional shots but only ones that I take to document for insurance. I need to take some nicer shots so I don't take any hits from the forum for crappy shots. I have some up on a Picturetrail site already and hope to get some more tonight. I'll post when I finish.
