I have dealt with them on a recent purchase.

They were great to deal with and made the transaction easy. They had no issues shipping to the US eithe, I am guessing it may be since the guitar was staying in NA.

It's a nice small shop too and the guys there are top notch. I think the guy i dealt with retired after many years there, but I would be confident dealing with them again....

Sent you a PM too.....

I've dealt with them many times over the years, good shop, good guys. Took a build-your-own-guitar course their back in the late 80's when they were much smaller ... one of the coolest things I ever did.

Anyhow, sometimes they're pricey but I've found them to be stand-up guys. Just my two cents.

12th Fret?

Haven't been there much in the past year, but always good service and lots cool guitars and things to check out. Tend to follow their web-site on a regular basis to see what new/used/vintage guitars are available... may just have to go visit them sometime soon. :)

cheers always, eh

I'm in Montreal and have purchased a guitar from them over the phone. Very knowledgeable and professional. The item arrived quickly and was very well packed.

I would do business with them again.

This is a great idea for a thread to find out how many Canadian's are on this forum. We could start our own club and force BP( By Force i mean Beg and plead) to produce a White Albert Lee with a Red Maple Leaf insignia on it for Just The Canuckleheads.

Anybody have photo shop to see what this patriotic guitar would look like? and make one up in picture form.

Is that a great idea or what:eek:

I do like the idea of a "Canuckleheadcount". Maybe I'll start a new thread for this after dinner...

Bon appétit!

They're great for set-ups, repairs and all of that but sales wise I haven't had that great of an experience. L&M isn't so bad :p

I took my 20th Silo there. I saw it on their web site and leave them and e-mail. After a couple of call, I make a bank transfer and 5 days later, I receive it with all my specific adjustments. I pay 140$ less then the best price that the dealer near me made for a flame top one. The window for order an 20thSilo was close at this time and I prefer the quilt top.

The next year I buy my BFR JP6 at the dealer near me and have a great deal too.

Poeple there, are great, easy to deal with and take time to respond to all your questions.

Just agreeing with what the guys have said here. The 12th Fret is a great shop with a great bunch of guys. Never an issue.

And The Guitar Shop is a cool place too.

I e-mailed the Twelfth Fret when I was buying my Dargie II, and they were helpful. I have no business experience with them though, because I ended up going through "the guitar shop" instead.

By the way, "The Guitar Shop" is another great store in Ontario, in Missasuaga to be precise. I live in NS, so I haven't been there, but I've e-mailed and called Brent at the store who was an awesome guy and made the process of ordering a breeze. I'd do it over and over again for sure. Just something to think about if you are hunting for EB stores in Canada!

I dealt with Brent when I purchased my first Axis, waaaaaaaaaay back when, and also acquired my first Pinkburst AL through him - I know this thread is about the 12th Fret, but I agree with Matt on his review of the Guitar Shop...just goes to show that we Canuckleheads have some great dealers here!
