I know we have a decent population of New Englanders here these days, and I know most of us probably assume the worst from good ol' new Hampshire (I know I do), but I was just in the Nashua GC and they had not only a standard Luke and a ton more EB basses than usual, but a rosewood neck ASS BFR. I was totally surprised, and thought I'd let you guys know incase any of you were going to be up in the land of no sales tax any time soon :D

(I also saw two EB guitars at the Daddy's Junky Music across the street, it was like EB day in Nashua!)

How many nicks and dings did it have? Could you get a good look at the finish through the layers of teenage grease and grime? ;)

Sorry, I cringe whenever I hear a nice guitar is sitting at Guitar Center.... :D

It was way high up where even I couldn't reach it (and I'm 6'4") so it was relatively safe I think.

Wow! That's the first I've ever heard of an EBMM at the Nashua GC....and I ask every time I walk in there.

Ok....tell us about what's over at Daddy's. Nothing shows up on their site but I do know that there's an orange Petrucci and a white ASS MM90 that have gone missing on the site, which usually means they're in transit.

Daddy's had a Sub1 which was on layaway, and a MM90 ASS which was about to walk out the door when I was there, so probably nothing now :(

Edit: and yeah, that GC has never had any EBs before that I know of. Maybe they got a new manager who knows what he's doing.

Yeah, I have spent some time at that Nashua store when I travel there on business. It's pretty small, and at the time they didn't have any MM guitars - actually, maybe they did have a SUB1. But I did spend a bit of time the MM basses and of course the acoustics (I need to get a quality Martin of these days). The folks there were cool though.

Every time I see a MM in the manchester GC it's poorly setup, with nasty strings. They just feel fake, like someone had sucked the life out of it. I always want to steal them from GC and bring them home, nurse them back to health.

But it costs $$ man to bring them home!! Plus you've got Pete and Nick near by man. :D
