...dang, talk about not missing an opportunity...9 minutes, Pete! ;)

I am personally not a big fan of rosewood, but man that Axis looks hot!

Everyone should buy one...except me. :p

Well, the way I see it..... I'm almost ready to head out the door for July wedding weekend #3 (yeah, 3 this month), so I may as well post a ton of pics and talk smack before I dust off the ol tux and get my car washed before the dinner. The wedding is an all-day event tomorrow, then Sunday is OzzFest.... I may as well make up for not being around the rest of the weekend.
:D

i have an acoustic guitar that is all rosewood and has the same grain pattern as that AXIS. As soon as my new job starts I'm saving up some money... i've got to get one. everything else will go (in their case and never be played agian)! The beatles got it wrong when thay said "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.." should be revised to "ALL YOU NEED IS EBMM GUITARS!"

I just love that rosewood....

Peter,

Did you ever consider that maybe

LOVE = EBMM GUITARS

in which case, the Beatles were still right. ;)

True love = owning a EBMM guitar!
Sweet Love = Owning at least one of each EBMM guitar made.
Affair = owning a EBMM guitar and having a Ibanez on the side. OUCH!
Denial = Owning a Peavey (i've got one so i can say that)
Al a moany = owning an Al guitar and hooking it to a sick Wah Pedal

I think we've just about covered it!

It was the former owner (the one before me), I suppose it's his way of doing things. Not my personal taste, but have no fear, it wasn't the factory job!

I think someone traded it in for another Pet Pete had. I could be wrong, but I think dude was looking to trade it and Pete swooped in and got the deal done....I must say, it was good for both of them!

Pete, my question is, is the neck "raw" like the other EBMM's, which I assume the answer is yes. I just haven't played one and I absolutely love Rosewood. Give Koogs the details man!

It didn't come from the shop like that, that's how it arrived. I didn't have a chance to find the snippers before shooting pics. I haven't even played it for more than 10-15 seconds yet (I just plugged it into a Soldano at the store to test-drive it, and promptly blew the circuit breaker  ), since I know how rabid people get over "post pics - BEFORE you play"

Koogs, you are right, Adam traded it in for a Graphite Pearl 6 w/ inlays - he posted pics of his new axe in the sticky thread as soon as he got home!
-----Rosewood necks from EB are finished just like their maple necks, and should be gunstock oiled on the back, and lemon-oiled on the fingerboards, per phone convo w/ Steve @ MM on Thursday night. These necks are frikkin AWESOME!
