Question Forumite Jamming With Phil Collins?

Came across this on YouTube. Somebody's playing (quite well BTW) with their Luke in a Phil Collins tribute band called Faux Collins. I was wondering if this was a forum member.

That's Paul Mills. He plays in a tribute band in Vegas. Here's his MySpace page:

I've spoken to him a few times through MySpace and he loves his Lukes - and says he's a good friend of the man himself.

I'm pretty sure he's not a forum member. I think I mentioned it to him at one time and he didn't comment back...

Not that it's relevant, but I do know he got married earlier this summer. His wife is 'Lady Rhonda' on MySpace.

I remember somebody placing a post about the fact that they play in a tribute band. The poster didn't want to reveal the original artist as he personally didn't like the band's music. I was just wondering if this was the same person who posted that comment. Guess not.

Hehe...that's funny. I guess this is pretty common. I have several friends - and one extended relative - who play in bands they can't stand. My relative plays in a Shania Twain tribute band. I guess it just goes to show you that sometimes just playing is more important than what we play!!

At least he is not in a Robby William tribute band - that would be a terrible thing!
