Insanity! Sounds great Dean...is that the the standard or ultra? How are you running it? I really want to get me one, as I dont play out and it would be perfect for home recording and getting insanely good tones.

Sounds awesome Dean!! Were you running the Axe straight to a interface and then computer to record or did you go through a traditional guitar cab and mic it to record? Any chance of you sharing that patch??!!

@Scooby - Dean mentioned in a previous post that he tunes to Drop C I believe, but not sure his string gauge.

@Roub - Looks like the Ultra from the notes on soundcloud, but this patch would def. work on the standard. Didn't hear any crazy effects!

Ultra; its just 2 different tones Amp 1. USA LEAD 2-CAB ,4x12 v30s and e.q. pretty basic really.
I run the Axe-fx straight into a mic pre-Chamleon Labs 7602 and straight into pro tools, and E.Q slightly.
No Effects.
Luke-EMG 81 in the bridge always sounds tight and pronounced

im still messing with Lead tones ill post a video soon.

all 3 of my Lukes have an 81 in the bridge

I'm with you. I'm an 85 kind of guy. The clip sound really good though.

Sounds great man. I had an Axe-FX Ultra, but ended up selling it. I often wish I had it back. Having said that, can't beat the sound of a Ball and Mark V!
