......well, not quite in person.

Came across an old "Star Licks" tape & booklet at home in which Albert demonstrates some of his bends, licks and tunes (also shows you his Tele collection, which falls a little flat on an audio cassette!!) Had it for 15 years or so and can almost play one or two of the exercises at quarter speed.

If anyone on here still has a cassette machine and wants to learn the intro to Country Boy amongst other things....send me a pm with your address and I'll post it to you. Times are a little hard, so Europeans will get preference. Only got one so be quick.

Ah Starlicks - those were the days,

The music shop I worked in as a kid had them - I could never figure out why the artist wasn't on the cover of the audio cassettes - until I heard them !!!!!!- I'll extend Andy's offer I think I still have Wolf Marshall does George Lynch (Not literally) - If anyone wants something to wedge a door open and I can find it they can have it!

Starlicks, where are they now!?

I had the brian may one, which I transferred to DVD - It was in mono! -I got £60 for the VHS tape on eBay- so if you have one sell it!!!

I had no idea there was a Nancy Wilson of Heart one, she was my teenage crush, Man she was Sooo hot - the things I thought of whilst watchng the video to 'Alone' - It'd make you blush!

and I still have my Lukather one.. I watch it more to look at the gear than to learn rossanna - although the bending on the 8th fret and hitting the 9th with your pinky (you kow the bit) still makes my hands hurt!- plus if you're so much as a microtone off it sounds like your killing it!!!!

Lucious just for you pal!

Then.....

yep the Country Boy dvd is a composite of two previously released AL vids - Advanced Country Guitar, and Virtuoso Country Guitar, I bought them in the 90's so its nice to have them on one dvd. there's also the "country legend" dvd, which is also a dvd of the previously released 2 video set, it has live stuff and interviews and lessons, you can buy the live part of it on the dvd called "live at Mars".
