Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone had any tips on making the trem bar on the Axis w/Floyd a little more loose/free swinging.

I called EB and they basically said to let it break in as the collar and the allen on the block is the only adjustment.

Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

Adjust the tension on the screw. New Gotoh Axis (like on the tributes) or older. New, can be done like the MM vintage trem with the 1.5mm screw, depress the trem arm and it is visible from the lower bout side. Older, the trem cover needs to be removed to get to the screw head at the end of the trem arm. ***Very minor adjustments make a huge difference on how free the arm moves, reason why just allowing for break-in can be a good option. If you can wait for it to come in where yu want the tension.
