What setup did you use to do the recordings?

for these it was:

Avalon U5 > MBox (old school one) > ProTools LE > Mac PowerBook G4 Titanium (VERY minimal editing, most of the parts are one complete take with out any 'comps')

then I took the tracks to a studio that my buddy works at , as he owed me a favour, and we dumped it into ProTools HD and then mixed on an SSL board. He then ran it out to a tape machine to give it the nice hiss and saturation and then back to ProTools.

being able to mix it on the SSL and use the gear at the studio reeeeeally helped to get it to sound the way it does, even for MySpace.

BUT, if anyone wants higher res mp3s, email me and I'll send them via YouSendIt or something like that.

Please, please, please, make an album I can buy on cdbaby or iTunes! I so much enjoy that sort of music, and frankly, it's more or less what I've always envisioned musically (bass ambient music) but just can't get myself to do...

now that I've got this done, it actually lit a bit of a fire under my friend's butt to do a bit of a collaboration with him, meaning that it'll just add synths and maybe some form of rhythm loops.

do keep posted though, i know it's taking a while but it will be done! a full length
