You can not 'hardtail' a trem-equipped guitar with a TremSetter alone. Well, maybe if you weld the rod....jeffrey said:I hear ya about the drilling thing. You can crank the springs on the TremSetter, but it's not going to give you a true hardtail (where the bridge is not able to move at all).
