I had some medical tests to take the other day (none mental ....thank you! :) ) and had some time to kill afterwards. So, what better way to spend some free time than to go to the local musicman dealer! :D

Well, there I was looking at the Bongos, Stingrays and other fine EBMM Boom-Boom power tools ;) when I saw a couple of new SUBs and thought -- what the heck!

I have got to tell you, I almost walked out with one to join my Bongo and SR4!!!

Man, what a cool little tone monster those SUBs are. I really like them :) Very down to Earth, no frills, but a nice round, full and punchy tone. Great entry level and backup bass. I see one in my future! Right after I get my EBMM fretless, I am going to look into one.

To all my EBMM brothers and sisters who play SUBs -- Right on!!!

Thank you very much for that recognition. Now mind you, I have a Sterling lying around, but I don't enjoy playing ANYTHING, EVER, more than I have enjoyed the priveledge of playing my SUB. :)

I want to play one!

I know, I know, I have all the fancy stuff, but I want to really spend some time with a good SUB....if I could find one cheap, used, ebay, whatever, I'd buy one.

Anybody got one up for sale?

I wish I had know that. You could have played mine while I had it last year. Sorry.

There's a guy on CL in my area who's also willing to sell it for under four bills (less shipping). Todd, is this the same guy? He doesn't have any pics, but he did say it had the satin teal finish. Interested? ... Interested? :p

SUB's Rock!

I play a SUB4 and it has definitely made me a better player. The sound, tone, feel, price, and EB quality - what more can you ask? (Plus, they just look "cool"!) :)
