Did my annual neck sand/oil/wax today... also used some wonder wipes on my fretboard. What a difference!

Apologies for the iPhone pic.

Oh man, it's the best feeling. I just gave my AL the spa treatment last night, new strings, clean neck & fretboard (roasted), polished body…feels a
Amazing. Now I gotta make time to give the others a go.

Once or twice a year I give them the treatment, less sanding, as well. Wish I could get all the stains out but I've learned to live with them. The Wonder Wipes have a way of making stains almost look like part of the grain anyway.

Is it a maple fretboard? I presume it is. I have an Axis w/ maple neck and want to totally clean the fretboard. Would you rub it down a little, oil and wax that too?

Sorbz62, I suggest reading the FAQ on the music-man website. My guitar has a ebony fretboard so I just used wonder wipes. Not sure if you can sand the maple fretboard but don't quote me. For the back of the neck just grab some #0000 steel wool and gunstock oil/wax and you're set.
