Fret Buzz ...help Me!!!!

I have a wonderfull sting ray 5 natural but i have a little problem with the neck tension ......i' ve checked other thread about it but nobody speaks about the buzz over the 12th fret.....how can i eliminate the buzz and keep an accettable string action!!!!
HOw can i check if the neck position (tension) is right ?
I can't understand till when i have to move the truss rod instead of the bridge........SORRY about ME !!!!!!! I hope you will understand and help me 'cause i really love this bass and i would like to obtain the best from it!! thanks!!!!!!!

Buzz past the 12th would seem to indicate too much relief (bow in the neck).

oh i worked a little bit with the truss rod and finally i think to have found the right tension......no more buzz.......!!!!!

Seriously Groovier, nothing quite as frustrating as a bad set-up, nothing as gratifying as a bad set-up tweaked into a good one!

Once the neck is set up to basically where you want it, there's no need to slacken the strings for further adjustment. That's the beauty of the capstan truss nut. Small adjustments can be done while the strings are at full tension (either way). You may have to retune to pitch when you're finished.
