Hey fellas, does anybody know if they do either the fretless or piezo option on SUBs? I know I'm dying for a fretless bass, but I'd like to get the ultra affordable yet still ultra playable SUB in fretless before I dish out real money so I can see how much I really want a fretless. Also, I think a fretless unlined board on that cinnamon Sterling SUB would look spectacular.

Thanks in advance.

You could always buy a normal SUB and then get it de-fretted by a workshop. If you sent it to ernieball they could defret it, or am i wrong?

No need--there are fretless SUB basses. I played one at NAMM, and it was very nice.

Now, that doesn't mean that any place near you is going to stock them, but they do exist. You just might have to order one.

I can't answer the piezo part of the question, though. Since it's a $300 option on top of the line MMs, I'm going to assume they aren't available on SUBs. Don't take that for gospel, though, as it's just a guess on my part.

Thanks guys, that really clears things up, and I hope that doesn't sound as sarcastic as it does in my head. Much appreciated.:)
