Fretless SUB???

I know I saw a white SUB 4 with a blank plank floating around in a classified ad somewhere around a year ago. I haven't seen another one among any forums since. Was a fretless SUB for real, or a luthier job?

I owned a fretless sub 5 string. Factory made and very nice!!

According to this old poster they did make them fretless with a pau ferro fingerboard, never seen one though... quite interesting!
