from string ray to sterling

ok i got my sterling through from canda iam uk, and i love it already!!its so much lighter than my ray and you can really feel that finner neck!!but one thing i need 2 sort is the control knobs are very lose if i losen that allen key push down on them and re tighen will this work?i dont really want to go down the o ring route if this is such a great idea why didnt they factory fit them?!!

sure, get an allen wrench and give it a try. might not want to push the knobs all the way down before tigthening it. lift the up just a bit

Another StRing Ray...

I've heard that it helps if you put the eq knobs in the detent position when tightening the allen screws.
