Selling my Axis sport, bought from Dave B last Christmas! Great guitar in good condition but I'm playing far too much acoustic guitar these days to warrant keeping both it and my MM EVH. Specs - maple neck/black body/HSS pickup configuration with silent circuit/trem/EBMM stock case. Set up for 9-42.

I'm after £500 UK stirling for it. If you're interested, please PM me. I'm in St. Alban's, Herts.

Cheers, Steve

Sorry - I've tried to attach a JPEG this morning but failed miserably - clearly I'm not too computer literate...I'd be happy to send JPEGS directly.

Cheers, Steve

Hmm, heres the deal.. I have an interest free overdraft but don't *really* want to be using it. But I have my student loan coming in September - should this be my student loan present? That money was meant to be going on a car.

Glenn - there are no pickguard holes. The guitar was shipped sans scratchplate according to DaveB. I can't see any sign that the guitar ever had a pickguard. I guess it might have spoiled the 'none more black...' look of the guitar?! Perhaps someone from EB can confirm what percentage of AS were shpped without a plate?

I don't have the s/n to hand. The guitar is in storage with my mother-in-law (she doesn't play!) while I have been moving house (the house move is what got me to deciding I don't need to lug around guitars I'm not really playing; I have a Tyler for sale as well). I can get the s/n this weekend though.

Cheers, Steve

Dude your lucky, most of them had the pickguards on them. It give that Sport a totally different look.

Don't worry about the serial number.

I quite like the look of them with pickguards, although I don't have any solid colour ones. I think with the solid colour, it looks good without it though.

Hmm, I think I have just contradicted myself.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. The guitar is nw provisionally sold to a fellow Forumite; what a great place to trade!

Don't worry that I'm leaving the fold tho' - I'll still have my old EVH and I might tire of playing so much acoustic guitar one day? As far as electrics go MM rule!

Cheers, Steve
