Up for sale here is a gorgeous 2005 Pearl Blue Bongo 4HH with a black pearloid pickguard.
It's a great bass and I do hate to see it go. However, I've realised that I'm a dyed in the wool F*nder guy, and since I got my Jazz this isn't getting the playing time it deserves. It's in good condition, and Music Man QC ensures that this one will be like all the other Bongos you've played; excellent. However, this was my 'go to' bass for over a year, and there are a couple of really tiny scratches on the front of the finish that I've highlighted with my MS paint skills in some of the last photos. The last photo shows some paint that's come off the headstock after an incident involving the ceiling, but these are the only real marks to the finish and as you can tell by the rest of the photos they aren't that noticeable. This bass will ship with the original hardcase including the key, and I'm throwing in a fresh set of Elite Players nickelwounds and a Levy's leather strap (worth £30 new) FOR FREE, because I'm that kind of guy.
Shipping will be by Parcelforce 48 insured which will cost £35 to England or £50 to Scotland. I'm not sure about Ireland, ask me for a quote. If you're anywhere else in Europe your business is more than welcome, shipping will be £60+, ask for an exact quote. I'd love to open this up for the USA too, but with the dollar the way it is it probably wouldn't be worth it. Alternatively if you can get to West Sussex, feel free to pick it up yourself and pay cash.
This is also on the Bay at the moment, but I'm open to offers from anywhere! As stated in the title, £725 + postage gets it. Trades considered are MIA Fender Precisions plus negotiable amount of cash. Don't hesitate to post or PM me your queries/comments! This will be advertised over on TalkBass as well.
