I know if I buy it, it will delay what I really want for that much longer.

I am very interested on the LUKE... What do you mean by "the neck is just sick"?...
Are there any problems with the luke except the little dings... whats about that crack?

The neck is just sick (with birdseye) is a way of saying that the birdseye figuring on the wood is greater than usual. For many guitar players this is a highly desirable trait. I like it too.
