I know this is a long shot, but I have this new beautiful EBMM SR4HH in Sapphire Black/Moonstone/Rosewood that at 11 lbs is a bit much for my 68 year old frame. I am looking to trade for a lighter (9 lbs max) EBMM in about any style or flavor (or sell outright). Of course I would like another SR4HH at 9 lbs or less but I don't think that's likely to happen!!

:D

Talk to me! Or at least show me pix?:)
It is in almost mint condition....just a tiny nick on the headstock. It's a very dark Rolls Burgandy. It has a MM case as well.

Oh I'm sure ya'll would. I've been playing since 1965 with a F*nd*r Bass VI as the first bass followed by a regular J*zz and a 2x12 Bassm*n amp. I started out in folk/rock/blugrass and later church, but really hadn't played out since the '70s until 3 years ago. Now I play as much as 40 hours a month (in July) in mostly...don't laugh....POLKA bands.... I told you not to laugh damn it!
Anyway also country/50s 60s rock/ "standards" and some jazz. :D
I picked up a used 1992 SR4 and have been converted to EBMM ever since. ;)

I didn't find the single H Bongo if that was what was refered to.
OK I did see the SH that you posted above this since I type slow.

Ill just throw in my 2 cents.

I owned that H/SC Bongo. Did a number of live shows and a studio session with it. I threw some flats on it, and man it sang. That Bongo is a great sounding bass.
