Anyone own an Overdrive Supreme? My local music chain has gotten a 100w ODS in, and I was stupid enough to play it. My sweet Jesus, it is amazing. Anyone else have some good experience with it? I hear nothing but wonderful things about it.

I had to suffer through a '62 RI Strat while playing this beast and even though the guitar had a sticky neck and dead strings, I was getting phenomenal sound out of it. I'm going down later today to plug in my Silhouette Special.

Haven't tried the OD Supreme .... but have played thru the 21 and the 45.

They are cool amps for sure. Definitely worthy of a 412 cab or two :D

cheers always, eh

You know, I was on such a Dr. Z kick. They're great amps, but the one I want doesn't have reverb and doesn't quite have this... whatever you call it... that the ODS has. There is something about it, almost magical in fact.

I left work early, snuck home and grabbed my Silhouette Special. I played the amp for damned near an hour. It is responsive, juicy and ballsy all in one. The clean channel is not quite crystal clear... there is always a bit of hair on it, which is apparently what I've been looking for this whole time. The overdrive is fan-****ing-tastic. There is sustain for days and it literally sings. It's like this stupid amp is an instrument and not just a vessel for the sound to go through.

I am ready to scrap the Mesa Boogie, and my Laney. They just seem so... flat compared to this amp. It is absolutely the cats ass. I'm wowed, and don't get wowed often. I love the Mesa and the Laney as well, don't get me wrong. This is just something that will literally make me get rid of everything else. All my pedals are out the door too... no need for overdrives or distortions or anything. I just plug in, and this amp has everything I'm looking for. I am wowed.

Can't wait to try it with a JP6........

Yo Rob! How goes the Bad Cat search?

Did you play a Creme de la Trem perchance? How awesome is it, if so?

Nah dont care for tremelo, my Marshall Bluesbreaker amp has tremelo in it, but I never use it. Mainly played the Fuchs overdrive pedals.

Bad Cat search is almost over, ive eliminated the Mesa Lonestar Special after lots of playing, the Cub II kills it.

Good. It always helps to be able to eliminate amps from your choices. Too many choices leads to sitting on fences, and that ends with ass splinters!
