hello,

I can't find anywhere this full tab, all I found was a guitar pro tab first 1.30 min aprox. :(
and of course I don't have the patience or enough time to learn it by ear for those who intend to advice me and of course having good intentions :p

I would really appreciate if someone could help me on this ...maybe you know some sacred tab site :)))) :D
Paul

racerxband.com/forum in the guitar players section there's a tab thread (stickied), not sure if that is where you got the gp file from, too lazy to actually download it and have a look, but there is one there.

Checkout a Tascam CD-VT2 voice and instrument trainor. They go for around $140 to $160 bt you can get one on Amazon.com now for $103. It is a great little piece of equipment that will allow you to slow down a CD by 50% while still keeping it in the original key, you can also isolate the solo or remove vocals and other instruments. You will find this a great tool and it makes learning a piece so much easier as it would be just about impossible to learn someone on the technical level of Gilberts music without one near impossible.

you can also use quicktime (free) or the amazing slow downer which is also cheap.

I assume you're searched the usual places.... 911, ultimateguitar, etc. When I can't find anything, I run the file through Audacity and slow it 10% or so. It'll import an MP4 that you can rip from youtube with keepit and then output an mp3 if you want to keep the slowed audio file. A little cumbersome, but once you got the song, it's quick to make time changes.

The two sites Jack listed-911 and Ultimateguitar both have tabs listed for this song so that is where I would head. This is why I tell the wife those pile of old magazines in the basement are not going anywhere, as she has been dying to throw them out for years now. But all those old issues of guitar magazines ( must be 500 easy) I have saved come in really handy when a tab is needed, I am sure a lot of others must have a back log of there own. I know that feeling though of really wanting to learn a certain piece and not being able to find a good tab, and with certain songs such as something by Paul Gilbert would be just about impossible using the old school method of dropping a needle on a turntable as I dont think I have that many years left in me lol.

Just a hepful tip but always see if there is a good live video of any song you are trying to figure out, as you will see how parts are played correctly and where on the fretboard as even pro tabbers get a lot of things wrong. It aso helps for playing live if there is only one guitarist and the song has a lot of overdubs on the recording, you will see how that player pulls it off live.
