I lent my JP6 to my Brother-in-law for one of his concerts near the town we live it. We went to the show and I was so happy to see my JP6 up on stage looking awesome. Yes, I was happy for my guitar to be played... strange I know, but...

I was only able to give my BIL a quick tutorial on the Piezo, but he seemed to use it pretty well... he got a great sound blending the mag and the piezo.

He normally plays a tele and after the show his bandmates asked him when he was going to get a new guitar... :D

I live in Slovenia, a small country of 2 million people and from what I have seen, a lot of the bands play EBMM... There is another forum member who plays in pretty popular bands who I know plays EBMM. Also, in one of the more popular bands, Dan D, the guitar and bass player both play EBMM.

My BIL is in a band called MI2 (Midva) and this is one of the top bands in the country... Here is a clip from the concert I found on youtube... see how the PRB lights up when the lights catch it? I Love it!

Yes, it is a strange feelin' seeing your guitar in some one else's hands.

The cool thing is you can now hear your sound, see the fiddle in action, and then see first hand those ugly "smudges" on the finish that you never knew looked so bad in the stage lights!!

Lots of benefits!!

Having run jams for years, its a regular occurrence to see other people playing my guitars. The thing that I always like is that they make them sound so different to when I play them. - its all in the fingers!

I let a friend of mine in a very good local band play my balls from time to time and it is a blast to hear what the guitars can do...he is a VERY good player...I love watching him play my guitars. He says everytime that these are the best guitars he has ever played.

The only time someone else played one of my guitars was years ago when I thought there was something wrong with my guitar (I think it was my Gibby L6-S), and that was the reason why I wasn't a very good guitarist.
Well, I handed my guitar over to a good friend of mine, Frank Dunch (RIP :() and he proceeded to play the living sh*t out of it, giving me my first lesson in humility.

Great playing, very melodic sound, very nice indeed. Your BIL looked too comfortable with that axe, make sure you get it back :)

I have very fond memories of Slovenia. One of my favourite holidays was in Bled. We drove around from Bled to Postojna, then on to the coast a couple of times, reminded me of a very warm Scotland; very green and fresh.......... but a lot warmer!

Good times.

Ah, no pictures... all I had was video that I found on Youtube that is attached.

I didn't have a camera during the show...

Sure it would have been nice to be up there playing my guitar, but I am happy that my JP6 gets some playing time anyway it can get it.

Slovenia is a beautiful country... My wife is Slovenian and after we had our son we decided to move from the US to Slovenia. So far it has been a very positive experience.

I had this dream where there were 10 blonde flight attendants playing my 10 ernie ball guitars (I told you it was a dream). They weren't even plugged in, but it was the greatest thing I ever saw!
