Hi, recently i'v been upgrading all of guitar gear. I allready own a Marshall amp for quite a long time now. But 6 months ago , i'v bought an Mesa engeneering Dual rectifier RoadKing, should be a Serie-2 being over 6 months that i'm waiting for it! And pretty soon gonna go for a Tc-electronic G-Force.

I'v heard about furman power conditioners and chek at their website and what i found is a lot of product, well maby too much. Power Conditioning, Uninterruptible Power Supply, AC Voltage Regulators, Balanced Power Conditioners. Sorry if i'm a little stupid but i don't know what purpose each one them serv, i'm no electrician!

The only thing i want is to make my roadKing(my first tube amp) and my futur G-Force sound at their best and not frying them for whatever reason!

If someone could explane me, it yould be greatly appreciate!

well, most of those furmans you see around are surge protectors. (help avoid major voltage spikes from going to your amp). A good powerbar can do pretty much the same thing.

If you really want to protect your get it is going to cost you. Most conditioners that I have come across and in the $500 range. And these moderate voltage... avoiding surges and brown power or low voltage.

These are only really important if your playing in places with really bad wiring etc. It's your call, personally I'd stick with a high end powerbar.. put the rest of the money into something nice.
