So I picked up a Axis Sport last weekend that had an almost pristine G&G case. I'd like to swap it for the rather beat up one that came with my BFR Koa 25th Anniversary. The BFR case has a tag like the one pictured below and the case with the Axis Sport just says G&G. Is there an easy way to either swap the tags or something? It looks riveted in and the backing rivets aren't visible/reachable easily.

I know it's minor in the grand scheme of things, but it'd be cool to keep the BFR tag if I can.

Ok. So still pondering this --

I now have an extra case -- 1 black G&G in excellent condition and 1 very beat up G&G case with the BFR tag inside that came with the koa 25th BFR in my profile pic.

Would you keep the BFR case with the Koa or keep the better case and sell the BFR? I mean, I'm not planning on selling the Koa 25th. I think that's now a lifer so maybe it doesn't matter, but I need/want to sell one of the cases but torn on which.

Any feelings from collectors out there?

I try/want to keep my cases original so I would keep things as they are, my 20th Silo the one I got from Pete, the case shows it was used and gigged, I am good with it.

When I buy used my questions are what type case and is it original.

I agree with Keith.

Also, people aren’t generally going to pay much for a used beat up case. If it is still functional, I would keep the original case with the guitar.
