To all of my forum mates, here are a couple of pics i have from the G3 Show last Saturday night here in the Bay Area. The pictures I have of Petrucci with his new BFR's doesn't do justice (i can't stress this enough!) as to how they really look in person. They are absolutely amazing! The Third picture i thought was really funy. Since it was St. Patrick's Day, they wore some "Green Stuffs" which made the night even more fun.

I am also sharing you the pics of my JP's signed by the "MAN" himself

If I may ask those of you who have their guitars signed, what clear coat should i use to put over his signature? any particular brand you recommend? any particular techniques and do's and dont's? i don't wanna mess it up by doing it on my own without asking you guys first. please help!!!!

what's with the earmuffs on Paul?

was on paul´s website (very interesting & funny - done by himself)
on the link-page Links he links to that: Extreme Isolation Headphones

His comment:

EXTREME ISOLATION HEADPHONES
I wear these headphones at every live show and every rehearsal I do.
They save my hearing by blocking out the loud stage volume, and they allow me to have the perfect mix at the perfect level. Save your ears too!

PG as some really really bad tinnitus. Hence the mufflers...apparently at clinics, he asks people to shout questions since he can barely hear off the periphery...that's a damn shame to be honest, especially considering he engineers/produces too and you need those ears to be 100 percent.

Eventhough those head phones are a bit dorky, it's worth it to save your hearing and they are way cheaper than the fitted kind...........

There is a discussion about this here http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-guitars/22758-just-out-intrest.html
The thread-title is a bit inexplicit ;)

Thanks. I read that thread and a few others. i found out that one forum member actually used an acrylic clear coat over the signature. i went to home depot to get one and they advised me to talk to a professional guitar tech before doing such because it might not be good for the wood, especially as precious as the JP's.

Hopefully someone from the forum can give me advises coz i don't wanna mess up my guitars.
