Hey all,
The other day while doing a guitar lesson with one of my students, I accidentally spilled a couple of drops of liquid cement on my fretboard. I immediately used some water to get if off the board. I can still smell it a bit, but it does not seem to have affected playability. I was thinking I should use some 0000 steel wool on where I spilled it, use some more water on it, and then use some EB fretwipes afterwards. Ideas?

Dude, that sucks........kind of ironic with your George Costanza avatar.......sounds like a rock n roll Seinfeld episode. How does playing guitar and liquid cement come into play at the same time?? Can't say I have ever encountered this problem,....is it a maple or rosewood fretboard? Maple I would say maybe lightly try the steel wool,,..doubtful if on rosewood. If it doesn't affect playability it shouldn't be a problem......however, maybe one of the EB tech's would have more definitive advice.
