I don't what it is about sterling basses that are catching my attention recently. Perhaps it's the looks. The closest i ever got to playing Sterlings was when i had my Sterling Ray 34. I currently own 2 Stingrays. I love the thinner necks as they are more comfortable to play. Playing my black/maple stingray has made me realize this. I love my slo special Stingray but for some reason i feel i havent been getting that tone that sounds good to my ears anymore. I know it's not the battery i checked. I love the beefiness a Stingray gives but i heard Sterlings have alot of Aggresiveness and attack. To be honest i got into Stingray's because of Johnny Christ. I know i'm very fortunate to have 2 stingray's at my age and i don't even have a year playing yet soon once the summer hits.
i'd like to know who prefers what over what. oh to be young lol.
