I feel for you dude kind of similar situation happened to me today and I think I am done with EBMM after what just transpired. I put $500 down and ordered the fuchsia sparkle EBMM Majesty from Bass Central and due to life was unable to pay when the guitar came in. I told them they might as well sell it but they were so cool about it at the time they talked me out of it and gave me more time to pay. Well I called today to pay it off and they sold it to someone else! WTF?!?! This was after them saying in emails my name was attached to it by AJ himself etc. Not to mention an email 3 weeks ago stating I could pay it off soon. Then apparently Beaver Felton from Bass Central made sure I was informed that I am a pain in the ass according to AJ and Billy from EBMM because I called the service department about their lack of detail in the QC department. Let's see, I bought a EBMM Majesty from them a couple years ago that had a neck so warped (backwards) I could have used it for a bow. The next thing was the paint cracked around the nut which they refused to fix because they said it did not affect the play ability which is true. However when you are paying almost 3k for a guitar I expect it to be perfect. And the famed finish coming off the bridge plates fiasco. Beaver called EBMM to see about making me another one and they said basically if my name is not John Petrucci then hell no. So you know what? Hell no I am not ever going to buy another EBMM guitar as long as I live. Matter of fact I think I will sell the ones I have now and switch to a Keisel. They look much nicer anyways and you can have them made any way you like. Screw you EBMM.

If you had an arrangement with Bass Central on payment, it sounds like you should be taking it up with them.

I'm just a bystander ... but it occurs to me that limited edition guitars are just that, limited. Not unlike the shamrock shake, once they're gone, they're gone. (Except perhaps for artists, which isn't really a big surprise.)

Unfortunately this isn't really the place to air all of your grievances (nor do I like that kind of language here), and I suspect there's probably another side to that story, so I think I'm going to close this for now.
